The client is a Portland-based Managed Service Provider serving small and mid-sized businesses across Southwest Portland.
Business Problem
- This MSP engaged with us in 2017. Back then, they were hopping vendors for their marketing initiatives, as they were not getting qualified leads despite a substantial investment.
- The SW Portland region is quite competitive in terms of MSPs and how they do marketing. So, they were looking for something good.
- They had around 13 full time engineers, and some clients were leaving due to mergers. They had to either fire the engineers or look for some good leads.
Our Plan
- When the MSP heard our story, they immediately onboarded us. They were expecting some returns in the initial 6 months, and we said - that’s fair.
- Our approach was to start with prospecting, and targeting some of the core industries, like manufacturing, healthcare, construction, real estate, law firms, and non-profits.
